Spic Macay |

SPIC
MACAY
seeks
to
conserve
and
promote
an
awareness
of
this
rich
and
heterogeneous
cultural
tapestry
amongst
the
youth
of
this
country
through
focus
on
the
classical
arts,
with
their
attendant
legends,
rituals,
mythology
and
philosophy
and
to
facilitate
an
awareness
of
their
deeper
and
subtler
values.
The
Kirori
Mal
College
chapter
of
Spic
Macay
is
more
than
two
decades
old.
We
have
had
the
rare
pleasure
and
opportunity
to
have
performances
by
renowned
artistes
like
Pt.
Debu
Chaudhauri,
and
many
others.
This
year,
we
organized “An
Orientation”,
on
the
activities
of
Spic
Macay
on
10th
August
in
the
college
Seminar
Hall.
This
was
followed
by
the
screening
of
the
movie
on
Spic
Macay.

The
Kirori
Mal
College
,
Spic
Macay
chapter
will
organize
a
performance
by
Pt.Bhajan
Sapori
a
well
known
Santoor
player
of
the
Kashmir
Gharana
on
the
27th
November
2007
at
the
college
Staff
room
at
5:30
pm.
Kirori
Mal
College
will
also
screen
some
classic
movies
of
Satyajit
Ray
during
the
week
long
Virasat
starting
from
26th
November
2007
to
29th
Nov
2007.
