SECOND ADMISSION LIST - 24.06.2006

 

All applicants to the following courses who are eligible according to the cut off marks given below may contact the concerned Admission-in-charge for the respective course on July 01, 03, 04 of 2006 between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. in the specified rooms along with their original documents and Photostat copies etc., failing which their eligibility for admission will stand automatically cancelled, and they will not be considered for admission after 4th of July,2006.
Those candidates who were eligible according to the First Admission List notified by the College shall not be considered for Admission in the Second Admission List.

B.A.[Hons.] Urdu Ist year Room No.10 50% and above marks in agg. with Urdu in XIIth level OR 52% and above marks in agg.with Urdu in Xth level OR 55% and above marks in agg.without Urdu, knowledge of Urdu essential. 
B.A.[Hons.] Sanskrit Ist year Room No.09 50% and above marks in agg. with 50% & above marks in Sanskrit.    
OR 50% & above marks in agg.without Sanskrit
(All candidates must have studied Sanskrit upto Xth Standard )
B.A.[Hons.] Geography Ist year Geography Department WITH GEOGRAPHY:
83% and above but below 85% marks in agg. [ with one Language + three best Elective Subjects] with 75% & above marks in Geography.    
WITHOUT GEOGRAPHY:
a) SCIENCE STREAM: 85% and above but below 87% marks in agg.[ One Language + three best Elective Subjects]
b) HUMANITIES & COMMERCE STREAM: 87% and above but below 88% marks in agg.[ One Language + three best Elective Subjects] 
    All candidates must have secured 60% or above marks in English at + 2 Level.
B.A.[Hon.]
Pol. Science

OR 85% and above but below 87% marks in agg.[One Language + three best Elective Subjects] without Political Science.
All candidates must have cleared English at + 2 Level.
B.A.[Programme] with Bengali  Ist yr Room No.07 59% and above but below 61% marks in agg. [ One Language + best three Subjects ]
All candidates must have studied and cleared Bengali atleast at the Xth level .

SCIENCE STREAM - 84% and above but below 85% marks in agg.[One Language + three best Elective Subjects]            OR          COMMERCE STREAM - 87% and above but below 88% marks in agg.[One Language + three best Elective Subjects] 
All candidates must have secured 60% or more marks in English in + 2 Examination .
B.A.[Hons.] Economics Ist year Room No.05 All candidates must have a minimum of 70% in Mathematics [Higher / Business] and 55% & above marks in English at +2 level
A). Commerce Stream : 92.25 and above but below 92.5% marks in agg. [One Language + three best Elective Subjects ]
B). Science Stream without Economics:90.25% and above but below 90.5% marks in agg. [One Language + three best Elective Subjects ]
C). Science Stream with Economics as a subject at +2 level - 89.75% and above but below 90% marks in agg. [One Language + three best Elective Subjects ]
D). Humanities Stream : 87.25% and above but below 87.5% marks in agg. [One Language + three best Subjects ]
B.Com.[Pass]
Ist year		 Room No.06 90.25% and above but below 91.25% marks in agg. with one language plus best three subjects out of Accountancy, Business Studies / Commerce / Management,  Economics and Mathematics / Business Mathematics.
Note : i) For any other subject, a deduction of 4% for each subject from the percentage of marks in aggregate will be made.
ii) The candidate must have studied English subject at + 2 level.
B.Com.[Hons.]
Ist year		 Room No.16 92.25% and above but below 93.25% marks in agg. with one language and the best three out of the following four Commerce subjects : Accountancy, Business Studies / Commerce / Management, Economics and Mathematics.
Note : i) For any other subject, a deduction of 4% per subject will be made in the aggregate.
ii) The candidate must have passed English & Mathematics at + 2 level.
iii) Mathematics does not include Business Mathematics.

B.Sc.[Hon.]  Physics Ist year Physics Staff R.No.01 82.66% and above but below 88%  marks in  PCM
B.Sc.[Hon.]  Chemistry Ist Year Chem.Staff R.No. 01 81.33% and above but below 81.66% marks in  PCM
B.Sc.[Hon.] Botany Ist year Botany Department 75% and above but below 79% marks in  PCB
B.Sc.[Hon.] Zoology Ist year Zoology Department 78% and above but below 82% marks in  PCB 
B.Sc.[Hon.] Statistics Ist year Statistics Department ADMISSION CLOSED
B.Sc.[Hon.] Mathematics Ist yr Room No. 12 87.33% and above but below 88% marks in PCM with 90% with above marks in Mathematics.
B.A.[Hon.] Mathematics Ist yr HUMANITIES & SCIENCE STREAM - 84.25%  and above but below 86% marks in agg. [ One language + Maths + two best Elective Subjects] with 88% above in Mathematics.
COMMERCE STREAM - 89% and above but below 90% marks in agg. [ One language + Maths + two best Elective Subjects] with 92% above in Mathematics.
For both categories, student must have studied English upto Class XII.
Note : 1. Any student submitting false/forged/fake certificates will be debarred from admission to any course in the college for three years. If he/she is admitted his/her admission will be cancelled. Such cases will be notified to all colleges immediately.
Note : 2. In case of admission to courses other than B.A(Hons.) Mathematics, B.Sc. (Hons) and B.Sc. Physical/Life/Applied Scence, the subjects Home Science/ Engineering Drawing /Fine Arts / Painting/ Physical Education/ Music/ Dance/ Agriculture/ Entrepreneurship and other vocational subjects such as Secretarial Practice, Insurance, Marketing etc. shall be considered as one of the subjects for the calculation of aggregate percentage. However, a deduction of 5% in the aggregate will be made in such cases. It may be noted that only one of these subjects will be considered for the purpose of calculating the aggregate percentage.
Note : 3. For admissions to B.A.(Programme) and B.Com.(Pass) a maximum of three vocational subjects can be considered for the purpose of calculating the aggregate percentage. However, for subjects such as Home Science/ Engineering Drawing /Fine Arts / Painting/ Physical Education/ Music/ Dance/ Agriculture/ Entrepreneurship and other vocational subjects like Secretarial Practice, Insurance, Marketing etc. a deduction of 5% in the aggregate will be made.
